“Gragnano is where strangers become friends over heaping plates of pasta, and every visit is a chance to savour the warmth of both the atmosphere and the cuisine.”
Goal
This concept design was born out of a love of food, inspired by favourite local places and sweet memories of travels. It was my chance to create a place I’d love to visit.
Creative Strategy
At the heart of the branding and concept of this restaurant was a nostalgic feeling of warm summer nights, dinner parties with friends, and a deep feeling of belonging to an accepting community.
Part of the research took me to discover that Gragnano is a city in Italy that is surrounded on three sides by mountains and one side the sea and is also called ‘City of the Pasta’ or ‘Città della Pasta’.
The branding is set to reflect the time-honored techniques and traditions of the region together with the finest ingredients to create pasta dishes that evoke the spirit of Italy.
